Hi! I would like to know what would you do in this situation:

A person who wants their dreamie that you have moving out / in boxes but they can't afford him / her.

You give them their villager, but they will have to pay you back soon. ✔️
You give them their villager for all the TBT they have and they don't have to pay you back. ✖️
You don't give them their villager. ✖️✖️✖️

Personally, I would just give the villager to them for whatever they have. But now, I think that is not fair now because you can easily deposit your bells and get the villager for less and because other people pay the full price and they don't.

I personally give it to the highest offer, but otherwise to all they have or for free, if they have it on their siggy.
Why? Because I got given MANY of my dream villagers for free! However, if they are lying, then I'd just not let them trade with me again.( Unless the specifically say they are saving up and have proof and stuff.) And also how trusted they are on the forums ^^

Okay, thanks ◕ ◡ ◕! I'm just saving up for a collectible and it costs over 10,000tbt. I want to earn all the TBT myself but I don't accept donations c:

Imo, in the end villagers are just non-tangible pixels in a game with no IRL value, and TBT/IGB is just imaginary currency with no IRL value. I guess it all depends on what your priorities are: making another person happy IRL by providing them with a villager they really want, or making yourself happy IRL by making imaginary currency for a service you supply in a non-tangible digital world. But, to be clear, there's nothing wrong with the later. If a person can't afford your price for a villager, that villager will eventually appear in one of the many other cycling threads for a price they can afford, or free of charge entirely, so no harm has actually been done. I'm just, personally, someone who likes to make people happy by giving them their dreamies for free, and TBT doesn't really mean much to me because there are plenty of other ways to earn it.

Exactly. Although I do see it as sort of stingy to demand a certain price... It just seems unfair to me. I've been given multiple dreamies for free due to the kindness of some people here, so I personally like to pass it on. Out of all the villagers I've put up in the VTP, the only one I put up for TBT (instead of free) was Lolly, because I needed some extra cash for my own dreamies lol

Also, what I would do in this situation is give them the villager free of charge or for a very low price.

I give my villagers to the highest bidder usually, but if I can see that someone really wants a villager and no one else asks for them I'll give them to them.

I agree with daynapapaya.

When I've cycled, sometimes it's obvious that a person really wants a villager and simply can't afford full price. I let them have their dreamie for what they want to pay and carry on with my cycling. I've given some out for free, the tier 1 villagers will sell for full price if someone really wants them, but mostly its what people offer to pay. It's always nice when someone is happy they finally have the villager they wanted.

I agree! ◕ ◡ ◕ I'd rather make them happy

when I notice that a village is about to move out, I just give him/her away. Because I don't particularly need the money nor do I feel like setting it up to sell them, I'm too lazy.

I don't ever charge. I am grateful people want to adopt my villagers who are moving on to new adventures :)
