I saw an ad for that in someone's signature (it was 2 dollars for 2m bells, I believe).
I was wondering if it's legit and if anyone knows anything about it as I have lost the link.
Thanks!

I bet there are people who sell bells for real money but I would never spend real money on virtual money. If you want to do that make sure that person is trustworthy (wifi rating/other peoples experiences with that person)

Well, I wouldn't mind paying 2 dollars for 2 million bells as long as I know it's a 100% legit.

$2/2m comes out to 10k/$.01. I don't think it's worth it, simply because 10k is really easy to get.

Omg T.T I will give you 2 million bells FOR FREE, just so you don't waste your $$$$.

Awww... That's so sweet but I'd feel odd taking money without giving anything back.
I'm just desperately trying to save up for Zucker and the last few transactions on re-tail fell through as the people backed out in the last minute. :'(

I'm looking to buy a second copy of the game for cycling/second town purposes? I've been looking on eBay and there are auctions there for bells! I wouldn't do it as I'm not that desperate for bells that I would spend real money!

and what if you run out? 2 mil. isn't THAT much.......home payment, pw's..... but it's up to you, I just don't understand why you would want to do that but ok

and if you go bug hunting a few evenings or get into turnip selling you have that money in no time, for free :o

I mostly want to save up for Zucker. I have saved up around 8 million and it took me a LOT of time and effort. Like, it's enjoyable but at some point, beetle hunting and hunting down towns with high turnip buying prices becomes tiring esp. because I don't always have access to wi-fi. I enjoy doing the daily routine of talking to villagers and doing some ordinary chores way more.
I did consider getting a second copy of the game but I only have got one 3ds so moving villagers around wouldn't be possible.

I can't believe people actually pay for it.
My friend's been looking for pokemon on ebay and keeps finding people trying to sell carts full of hacked legendaries and stuff, I didn't believe her at first that that was a thing. But then I suppose, there's entire businesses in China and such that just farm currency in MMOs to resell.

OP, seriously, don't give anyone real money to make a number go up on your video game.

I think I made my opinion on the subject clear but it stays your choice........

To help you: I believe that ebay has a user rating system, if someone doesn't have negative comments I guess they are honest

I'd rather give you free bells than you waste $$$ on bells, spend your free $$$ commissioning Artists or something.

So before you think of buying anything, just come ask me ;D <3

I already do that. I'm a struggling artist myself so I commission artwork whenever I can (most of them being my cat's portraits XD).
I know that some people might feel weird about paying real dollars for in-game money but a lot of games out there ask you to do that as it is (for example, Plants Vs Zombies). I guess the only difference is that the money ends up going to the manufacturer in that case and not a 3rd party.
If you do really want to help out, I could sell you the full Ice Set since the last transaction fell through. Just let me know. :)

I wouldn't chance it but that's my opinion. If you don't want your TBT bells, those are going for about 600k for 100 TBT bells.

How does everyone get so much spare cash?? *_*

This should a more popular way of getting cash in-game. Get out of Re-tail and sell your *mostly useless* TBT Bells in the TBT Marketplace. Usually 100 TBT Bells is equivalent to 600k Bells in-game. Take advantage of that!
