Buying a dreamie without time traveling?

Hello!

Maybe my question is a bit silly but I don't have any experience in buying/trading dreamies.
I don't time travel, but is it still possible to buy a villager from the villagers trade forum?

Yes ofcourse!

Time Travelling (TT) is only for speeding up time. Some people, when they have 10 villagers, will Time Travel to get a villager to move out faster. Because the max. amount of villagers you van have is 10.
So by TT'ing they try to get to 9 villagers to be able to adopt one from the Villager Trading Plaza.

So long as you have space you can~ The villager you bought will appear the next day.

Okay thanks, and another question..
If I let a villager move out and I have 9 villagers left, will there be another villager the next day or can I keep the 10th spot reserved till I got my hands on my dreamie? (If I keep other people out of my town)

There will be another villager if you have 8 so no but just be careful, you might get an unexpected villager from streetpass

The 10th villager spot can only be used by a villager from the campsite, someone else's town or from streetpass, so you're all good!

You should be able to keep it reserved as long it's the 10th slot. Just be careful about visiting other towns or having visitors. A villager moving from those players can move to your town.
