So, I was considering buying a gaming/high performance computer with which to join the PC master race, and I found I pretty good deal on one, with one catch, that it's factory refurbished. I just thought I'd check with you guys, since I have no other real computer experts around, if I shouldn't go through with this, be it because of bad experiences with refurbished computers, or whatever.

Refurbished just means used to be broken, not still is. Might wanna be a bit more gentler than a normal computer, but I say go for it. Buying refurbished stuff is a great way to save money

I totally agree. I've bought a few refurbished things and they've all worked out great!
