Buying 2 games off eshop?

So lately I've been thinking of buying another animal crossing game to cycle in and help people of this forum to get their dreamies like they've helped me but I was wondering if it was possible to download the game twice? My original town I downloaded it off eshop so I was wondering if I could buy another copy off the eshop and download it again?

This is how my game got corrupted.. I have the eShop version and I used different SD cards, but the game still screwed up. I'm not sure if you can download it again, but be careful with this way.

Yes,

You Can not get 2 copys ( from the e-shop ) it will thing your trying to get another. Nintendo has it so it will corrupt your other save on whatever game.

No, you can't. You will have to get a cartridge if you want another town.

Aw that really sucks I have a couple of dollars on it already it would have been easier to just buy it again from the eshop :c oh well.

I was devastated.. I had Julian from a random move in, I had Fang, Chief, and Colton as well. I lost a ton of money. But now my new town is better!
