do they have the same mechanics are new leaf? where they won't grow at certain areas, like near cliff or something. question maybe for people that tt? (lol, see they're useful for things like this so don't come for them and stop judging!!!)

Nope from what I have heard I don't know the exact limitations but it's not like new leaf.

We were talking about this in another thread, they grow in a 1x1 square like flowers, so you can plant them anywhere but unlike flowers you can't go through them, they act like tress.

sorry if i was too lazy to check out those threads relevant to it, but if i understood it correctly then it would grow on the edge of cliffs right? basically a flower but act like trees (or fences)

Yes, i currently have some grown ones at edges of cliffs

fences are great, but it gets too repetitive after long lanes of it.
