Bush Planting Question - 2x3

I've seen a lot of guides to bush planting floating around, but I've never seen anyone address this: what if I want to plant my bushes in clumps rather than rows? Is this something I could do?

There's enough space around that 2x3 bush rectangle for any of those bushes to grow individually. There are no buildings, trees, or other bushes touching any of them. It would just be a little bush island.

Thoughts?

Yes, it's possible to do clumps instead of rows. I usually see that when people make mazes which is a really fun idea and whenever they have space to spare. As long as it doesn't exceed 12 touching then you're fine.
