Bush Ideas

I'm pondering on what to do with bushes while landscaping and was wondering; do you or don't you make rows with all the same bush types or colors? Or do you just plant whatever?

My town is being covered in rows of hydrangeas. The line my paths, alternating every other from blue to pink.

in some areas I alternate between azaleas and hydrangeas, and trees too to break up the patterns. In others I have rows of hydrangeas too, depending on the color of the villager's houses nearby. I think your best option is visiting lots of dreamtowns to get ideas.

I usually line paths and segment gardens / villagers with them. Usually I match them to the flowers / colour of the villagers nearby.
I keep same type bushes together, so different areas in my town are featured more in different seasons. I don't always alternate though, depends on whats around. ~ ie Bruce got blue hydrangeas only, with more and more pink the further form his house you got, up to an all pink area.

In my old town, I liked keeping similar bushes next to each other. Its just easier on the eyes that way imo
I dont really like paths so i like to use bushes as a guide kid of thing instead.
