So it took me two tries to completely cycle through one week to get rid of an unwanted villager (Ken). And after "living" the same week twice, I'm just not like...super into playing anymore? Plus Joan didn't show up on Sunday! Like...now I don't know what to do????
Up until I was TTing and trying to get rid of Ken I was playing for hours a day and loving it...but something changed :(

any tips or did y'all go through this too?

Maybe its time to take a small break?
That way it feels new and refreshing after a while of not playing?

TTing tends to ruin the experience for a lot of people (including me). i'd suggest to stop tting and start taking it day by day again :) maybe focus on something relaxing like fishing

Yeah, I think I might! I have the beautiful town ordinance and I turned down a villager's request to move so now's good time to chill for a bit! thanks!

I wish I knew that! I was hellbent on getting my villager out and then everything has seemed tedious since I've started playing normally again. I think I'll take a day off or so and ease back into it! ty!!

A break will do it!
TT'ing always destroys my will to play the game normally. If I TT once I won't be able to stop...! It just seems so slow in real time after that.
But I know how it's like to be so desperate to get someone OUT. I've been through it a couple of times.
I hope taking a brief period of time off from the game will aid your troubles...!

I would also suggest a break. Personally I've always found tting encouraged me to play more, but we are all different and for you it's probably slowed the game down too much. You can take a weeks break (or more) without losing any villagers, will save you having to play this week over again if that's also worrying you?
It would be a shame for you to end up stopping play altogether. I've done loads of cycling to get out unwanted villagers and having the town the way I wanted it did encourage me to go on more. I'm sure you will find it much better in a few days when you've taken a break, you can go back to a town without Ken :)

You could take a break or change your acnl schedule and do things outside of your normal routine. If you don't go to your private island often, or to the international island, you could try that, or if you haven't decorated your museum rooms, you could also try that. You could also just catch some bugs or some fish and rack up some bells.
