Bugs or Weird things in Animal Crossing.

I experienced a few weird things in Animal Crossing and was wondering if those things ever happened to other users as well.

1. Once I met Joan in the evening hiding behind a tree, like around 8pm.
2. While re-planting my pink cosmos, one turned red.
3. I got my Master Angler badge long long ago when I'm mostly catching bugs and still don't have the bug gold badge.
4. Never never seen the sloppy or cardboard furniture in re-tail or police station even if the villagers owning them got rid of them. (suspect beautiful ordinance)

What about you? Did you have some weird experiences like that?

I've had moments like those before. For example, I am meant to get the Golden Badge for playtime from Phineas long ago, but I still don't have it even though I'm well over 500 hours.

But perhaps the bug that concerned me the most was this one. While beetle hunting at Tortimer Island a week or two ago, the graphics in my game disappeared for a split second. I could only see the white 3D models in that moment. To this day, I'm still concerned if it'll happen again, especially with how glitchy ACNL has been lately. Doesn't help I've only had this game for four months.

One time I was beetle hunting and I saw 4 emperor butterflies spawn in the exact same spot so they were all spiraling in a small circle on top of one another.

Also, I can confirm that sloppy/cardboard furniture can be found with beautiful ordinance. I found a cardboard sofa last week.

Really? :'( How come I can't get one? I'm trying for a while and my villagers just refuse to sell them to me or retail.

Yes. I don't think this is glitch, but still felt weird.
We can see it when someone is boxed up and their new mayor comes to pick them up.
I ended the session while we all ( me, other player, and my villager who's boxed up ) were in the said villager's home. I'm not gonna spoil here. Try it if you're interested. It feels quite weird.

Also. I can explain the system logic about the number 1, 2, and 4, if you're interested while I doubt it could spoil the mystery!

The thing with the boxed villager happened to me just today as well! I'd never stayed inside the house after someone had talked to them and left and I was curious what could happen if I did. Quite weird, almost creepy that it can happen!

I don't think I've really had any bugs or glitches go on in my game though o_o

Hm...I'm trying something for the 4, what if I keep those places empty everyday?...

For 1...Well perhaps I closed the cover of the DS without saving while she was there and come back at night, I often do that.

For 2...I don't know, I just had pink flowers in my pocket..it was pink in my hand and once on the soil it turned red...mystery...mystery...

This is kind of a glitch.
The place you planted your pink cosmos was a place which was supposed to be a block for a new red cosmos on that day. By new flower I mean, a flower determined by system when you load up the game for the first time on that day.
It could happen when the area has no place for a new flower, or when a villager happens to plant a flower exactly the same moment when we plant the flower. Sometimes it looks like flashing. It looks creepy~

Each villagers has certain amount of stuff in their drawers. So yes, empties all slots at Re-tail could make it happen by chance. But here's another tip. You can't use this tip if you're not the one for time traveling.

Spoiler: TT cheat

There is a certain day that they decide to put those rare pieces at Re-tail. If you keep TT back and forth across that day you can get multiple of those items. It doesn't mean they put exactly the same piece though.

One time I found a lemon tree with only two lemons hanging, then when I shook them down there was three! Oh magical glitch? And just saw some dream towns that had underwater public work projects built in and pathways on a hidden beach, or compiled public work projects. I have always thought it was pretty cool bumping into Pascal while diving x3

I THANKFULLY haven't experienced many glitches. It would freak me out if I did, I have only experienced the glitches you can go, like "swimming" in the rivers when you get pushed in with a tweeter, or net glitching and going under or over map, but I haven't had any like game glitches thankfully.

Nope, never gave a villager, those who moved out are almost all time travel accidents, so they were gone before I had the chance to do anything. Nobody left for several months now, Octavian is still with us
Now it make me curious though....

In this town I had back in the spring of 2015, right before I got my current town (Vista). I had my mayor character and Isabelle walking around town to sit down a new PWP, it was around 6 or 7 am in the morning. When I finally found a nice spot for the PWP, I told Isabelle it was a perfect spot (you know, when she shows you a preview of how it will look) and while Isabelle was doing her usual explaining of paying of the project, Pete was walking around in the background! At 6 or 7 am in the morning.

And no, he wasn't out there when I loaded up my game the first time. It was pretty creepy, wished I had took a picture.
It hasn't happened since O-O

Uhh I've had villagers talk about other villagers and refer to them as she/he incorrectly. The other day Diana was talking about Winnie and she referred to her as a "he" I was like weird

I've had the glitch/bug with the tree only showing one fruit instead of 3. It was actually my perfect cherry tree and I panicked a bit since it was my only one at the time....quit and reloaded and it was back to normal.....really bizarre

Once when I was playing the screen just turned black, and then resumed normally a few seconds later. I think some magnetic force made the game think the 3Ds was closed and to go into sleep mode, because the blue light was slowly fadi in and out like in sleep mode.

I've done the empty villager house thing quite a few times when I've picked up villagers from my cycle town. I like to take pictures of the empty house.

Like...How come my residents could built their houses near a bridge but when I want to change that bridge and built a new one, Isabelle thinks it might cause inconvenience for those residents. I would so hit her with my hammer.
