Bug?

I'm not sure if this is the right thread but, as I was leaving someone's town, this happened:

It's been stuck on this screen for a while.. And I'm not sure what to do? I was like, okay, I should restart the device, but I'm afraid that might create some sort of problem, and blah blah blah. I just really hope my game isn't corrupted or anything... I'm just making sure, so that I don 't screw something up. Hopefully someone might know whether or not my game will be fine? ...?

If I had to guess, I'd say it was a graphics rendering glitch, but that would more than likely only happen if you were playing on a digital copy and had a lot of the memory on your SD card taken up.

It's just internet lag, it happens sometimes.
The slightly faded stones on the ground are qr patterns if anyone is wondering.

Out of curiosity, did it ever unfreeze? Or did you have to turn your 3ds off?
