Bridges, stairs and inclines.

I recently did some terraforming and wanted to add some stairs. Tom said I had already reached my limit. I have 12 bridges and stairs combined. I'm a bit baffled by this, because I just visited a random dream town that had 7 bridges and 8 stairs. Are we allowed 8 of each? If that's the case, I only have 5 bridges, 1 incline and 6 stairs.

As far as stairs and inclines go, they count as the same thing. Are you sure you have 7 and not 8? You can open the demolish menu and count them all there if it helps.

Oh. I forgot to count one by my secret beach. That explains it. Well, now I know I can at least build 3 more bridges if needed. I figured I wasn't allowed to have anymore of any of them. Thanks for your help.
