Bridge Space Requirement?

I'd like to replace all of my brick bridges with wooden ones, but seeing as I haven't messed with them since I started landscaping my town before December, I'm afraid I won't be able to put them in the same spaces (villagers have moved in, PWPs have been laid, etc.) Does anyone have a definitive guide or picture detailing the space requirements? I can't find any good ones online andI seem to recall seeing a bunch of scans for PWP space requirements from a Japanese magazine awhile ago. If I could get some help, it'd be much appreciated!

I saw that one, but did anyone confirm it? The last guy who posted couldn't build a bridge even though it was within the peramters of that guide.

Meh, I don't know. It's probably the best/only "guide" that you'll be able to find though. Do your bridges have to go in the same spots? You could try it out and see what happens... But if you definitely need the bridges where they are, I'd say just leave them. Bridge placement is unbelievably frustrating .-.

Well, it'd certainly be helpful since these wooden ones would go much better with my paths and I already have everything fully landscaped. Literally the last thing I'd do before moving onto houses would be replacing these bridges. I might just have to live with mismatched bridges though ;^;

Uggh, that's ridiculous! Why would they change the extra space needed after the bridge was plotted and not just make it a reasonable amount all the time?
