Bridge problem

I had one bridge close but not to close to 2 houses and I build it
When those 2 houses were there
And now I wanted to replace it but Isabelle keep telling me it's close to the residents house

Why that? The one before was built while having those 2 houses

The one it had before was the cobblestone and now I want to build a modern bridge

i think its because the modern bridge is a bit bigger than the cobblestone one, therefore it needs more space, make sure you look at much space it needs and how close those houses are to the spot you want to build it on

Yeah, that's happened to me before in my first town. I had to get rid of Shep sigh because of that. It was the same type of bridge so I don't know about that. ヽ( ??`)ノ

I have wasted lots of money to upgrade.. -sigh- and
Now it won't let me put none.... I'm so angry
