I like the balance I have right now and I want to have one of every personality type. If I had to make any changes, I'd move in Pierce and let Beau move out, but that won't be until the far future at least.

Got 2 crankies, 2 snooties, 2 normals, 1 lazy, 1 uchi, 1 smug, and a peppy moving in to replace the jock.
Honestly I'm fine with not having a jock. I'm going to replace Judy, maybe with another uchi.

Right now, I have 2 cranky, 2 lazy and then one of each of the rest of the personalities.
At one point, I had 3 snooty and at another point, I had 3 normal. I didn't enjoy that. So I'll try to have every personality on my island if I can help it. That said, jock and normal types are not my favourite, which means if I had to do without a particular personality, it'd be one of them.

Dialogue wise I could double up on all of the villagers except peppy and jock. I love Genji and Ketchup to bits but as some people said above, hearing about muscles or being a pop star during every single interaction is grating away on my nerves and I don’t think I’d be able to endure another jock or peppy around. I didn’t feel this way in older games, in ww I had several jocks.

I've tried very hard but I can't manage to fit a jock into the picture without booting out someone I love

Currently (accidentally) have 3 smugs & 3 peppies..... Huck's moving today though so not for much longer. My other 4 are uchi, lazy, normal & cranky.
I plan on having a FAR more balanced island (Huck's getting replaced with a jock) but this is just what happened when I let the game mostly do its own thing

I know I want to replace one of the normals with a jock and the sisterly with either a snooty or a lazy! Having 3 lazies might be a lot but their designs are all way too adorable! We shall see how this turns out

2 Normals, 1 Peppy, 1 Uchi, 1 Jock, 1 Smug and..... 4 Lazies. It's not that that I hate crankies or snootys! I do wish I had some but I only got 10 villagers slots and I love everyone in my island! I doubt it will ever happen but if more villager plots come in an update I promised myself I would get a cranky and a snooty! (Probably Olivia and and Walt? If only I could have more slots.....)

I was super lucky with my villagers as they were mostly random/quick island hopping recruits! And the personality balance is perfect for me too (I finally got Antonio out lol, I don't mind him but didn't really want two jocks)
