Break the town theme or keep it?

I admittedly have been busy and haven't though much about anything that has to do with this game. I got onto my town and Caroline was in boxes. Today she is gone. At this point, I want to keep a theme but I also just posted to get Maple from someone. I like the squirrels I have but Maple always makes my towns complete. She's my favorite. The only problem is once I get her, I won't really care about a squirrel theme probably. Do you think I should add her to my squirrel town?

I think you should keep the town theme. It would be cool to have a bear cub, also if she is a dreamie you should totally keep her, try to add her to the Squirrel town, like make her have a part. Like I know someone that had Pig theme town and added a wolf and made the town a version of the 3 little pigs. So if you do something a bear cub and Squirrels that would be cool!!!!

Definitely keep her! I'm currently doing an all cat town, but Melba is my favourite villager so I'm making an exception for her.

I totally agree with what the person above me said. I think it's totally cool to go an almost full theme town, but then make an exception for a few favorites. I think it gives the town more personality.

Aww I'm sorry to hear about Caroline. I would stick to your theme, maybe even see if you'd be willing to part with 1 or 2 more squirrels so you could have a couple more cubs? Either way 9 squirrels + 1 cub would be cute too.

If you'd really like to have Maple in town, I say go for it. I'm sure you can still maintain your theme even without one of your squirrels. I'm sorry about Caroline, by the way. I know how hard it was to find her.

If there's more squirrels to add then that's a good idea too so the theme stays, but Maple is a good villager to have-very motherly, calm and peaceful like c:

I want to say stick with your theme but I also have a soft spot for Maple, so I say let her in :3 squirrels and cubs are pretty cute together anyway!

The same thing happened to me in my duck town when Drake took off.I ran out of ducks to replace him so I brought in Puck from my other town.Now he's Mallary's chubby cousin from way down south.I kept the duck theme going but I was tempted to bring in a pair of aquatic type villagers like frogs,gators or hippos or one more penguin but in the end I went with just Puck.

omgosh, yeah I take back my idea of having half squirrels/half cubs

just having Maple as the queen would be awesome.
