Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a cheap cash in sequel of Super Mario Galaxy. It's practically exactly the same. To show Nintendo, DO NOT buy the game when it comes out. It'll sell 0 copies and they'll regret ever trying to rip people off this badly.

For instance, Majora's Mask was better than Ocarina of Time, and Spirit Tracks was better than Phantom Hourglass.
They aren't ripping off anybody. They had alot of unused ideas in SMG 1. They were originally going to make a SMG 1.5, but they added so much stuff they made a sequel.

You don't have to play SMG 1 to get SMG 2.
