Oh don't make me laugh. The bible does not state being gay is a sin, although it does say that hating gay people IS a sin. You're the one at wrong here, and it makes me sad that you've actually been brought up to believe being gay is wrong.

It's the fact that he's been brought up to believe that anything that defies the bible in any way that's wrong. Don't go overboard with religion, it's not everything.

This reminds me of a quote from the book, "To Kill A Mockingbird":

The bible says a man should not lie with a man like a man and a woman but it doesn't say being gay is wrong. The catholic religion is that gay sex is wrong because it doesn't allow child birth. Gay sex ≠ being gay. But most gay people do have gay sex.
