I tried to do a lot with the light, I think it's one of the most important parts of creating a fantasy type effect.

Too many sparkles for me. The bottom-half is overclouded. It's pretty cool though. The color's way better than the original image.

a) It's not a cartoon.

b) It's not overloaded with C4Ds.

To be honest I'm not fussed if other people don't like it anyway, I just felt like making something that reflected how I felt at the time.

I have a good idea! make the lights alittle bit more yellow, and make the background more purple
(its a artist trick where opposite colors pop out)
