bored of acnl

I usually play hardcore on a town for like 2 years then get bored and leave it for a couple of months.
When I come back, I usually start a new town, it gives you a fresh project to start on and new villagers etc
Basically my advice is to leave for a couple of months and come back later :)

Either start a new town or try to completely revamp the town you have. I sold my old town to Tom Nook and now have hecka bells to spend on this new one. If you're looking for more of a challenge, though, I would say revamp your current one with all new PWPs and new decor in your mayor's home. Try to make it look like a brand new town.

I rather not to leave the game for few months what mapleleaf said, because if you care about your villagers like you don't want them to leave then go on everyday and just check on to see who is moving out, after that play another game that's more fun for you then acnl. If you did left acnl for a few months, your town be in really bad shape and you will lose your favorite villagers.

I know how you feel, I'm 100% bored of acnl

Whenever I get bored, I start a new town, think about what kind of villagers and town theme I want
and then start building the town part for part. Otherwise, if I have a town which I don't want to lose,
I think about what I could maybe change about the town itself, maybe making a new character and
play with this one for while, do some landscaping...

Most of the time, when you play for a while, you find something which helps you to get back to the
game, like landscaping for example, working on getting missing items or so.

If you take certain precautions before your break you won’t have to worry about any villagers skipping town. The worst thing will be a few weeds and bed head.

you are bored probably because you are playing this game nonstop. you hafta play it like for 1 hour, then leave it and play other games or do something else (i dont know, go outside or watch tv). if you play something a lot you definitely are going to get bored of it eventually

Thanks guys! I will try a break for a bit, play a bit of Sims, Fortnite, GTA and try and get back into it next month.

(Not sure how my cycling clients will feel though)

The only way to stop being bored of a game that I know of is to take a break. I have taken numerous breaks since 2013. Resetting your town (or starting a new town in a new copy of the game) might also renew your interest, though.
