Boosting Friendship with villagers question.

I heard that giving villagers rare items it boost the friendship more than if it was a common item. If this is true, how high would giving them a T. Rex Model boost it?

I think it depends on what type of items that villager likes, not necessarily how rare the item is.

Is the T. Rex Model, an item that would significantly boost it for Ankha or Clay? (I am thinking about giving Clay a collection of models!)

Oh, I didn't mean as Birthday gifts. I mean as in when they ask for items as favors.

Wow. Looking at the list and some of the gifts. It seems I have the most picky villager in the game, and that is Clay (Only about 11 items are perfect for him), and two of them have the same preferences (Rory and Drago)
