As you wanted the forest, you spot some curious bugs. Have you caught them already? Reaching for your handy-dandy critterpedia to check, you notice... It's gone?! And it's not just yours: everyone's critterpedia has gone missing! Fortunately, you're not alone: together with your cabinmates, you can surely fill it out again! In this event, you will be capturing insects... through artwork of your own creation. Together with your cabinmates, fill out as much of the critterpedia as possible!
How it Works
- Submit a drawing of a bug from Animal Crossing: New Horizons' critterpedia to this thread by 6:59pm EDT on August 29th 2021
- Include your TBT username in the drawing
- In your submission, include a sentence with the name of the insect you've drawn (e.g. "For my submission, I drew an ant!")
- You may submit only once
- You may not edit your entry after submitting unless asked by the host
- Entries must be drawn by you and can be drawn traditionally or digitally
- You may not use any art renders or assets that were not made by you
- A reasonable amount of effort should be put into your submission. We should be able to tell what bug you've drawn by looking at the picture.
- 1 Bug Point (BP) for submitting a drawing of a bug
- +1 BP for adding a new bug to the critterpedia (i.e. submitting a bug that was not submitted yet)

At the end of this event, if at least 60 BP is earned by a cabin, 200 points will be awarded to the cabin.
How to Vote
The cabin favourites are entirely community-decided. To vote, simply leave a reaction on the post of any entry. You can use either the Like or Love reaction, they will be added together. Entries that are approved will be marked by the staff with the accepted reaction, but don't wait for this to appear. Feel free to Like/Love any entries at any time!
While you can react to any entry, favourites will be decided only by votes from members of the same cabin.
Prizes
Participants who submit an accepted submission will receive:
- 20 Woodland Tokens
- 20 Cabin Points
In addition, if at least 60 BP is earned by a cabin, 200 points will be awarded to the cabin.
