BIGGEST New Leaf regrets

I should've spent more time resetting to get grass and a native fruit I don't despise. Triangle grass and pears, and all I had to do was hold out a little bit longer to get Stitches with a good map x____x
Ah well. I like this map and my villagers, and my town gets better every day.

Time travelled too much and lost Bam AND Tia in the same day ;-; fml

Catching the scorpion and tarantula before starting my town. It's so much easier catching those 2 when they isn't alot of PWP,trees and houses. Also getting the weeding badge out of the way too.

Another is placing the campground on the cliff. We camp alot near the beach in RL. I didn't know that the cedar trees wouldn't grow there.

When i got the game on August 19th I time traveled one day back to my birthday then one day forward again and i got a new villager called Annalisa. I HATE catching the tarantula i almost did but i hit my net to the ground a little two soon and it stung me :p

Building my Mayor's house, Cafe, and Police Station too close to the river where my bridges are. I could tear the bridges down, but I wouldn't be able to replace them with a pretty new suggested bridge because I'd have permanent buildings in the way...

Not knowing I could choose my mayor's face at the beginning, placing my house right next to the train station, and selling all my creepy/harvest/jingle furniture because I got sick of looking at it.

My house and my camp site. My house is on a little peninsula and I placed it with only four spaces in front (and then there's the river), and only three to the side (and then there's the river again). I put a bridge directly in front so I'm making a little garden area with a fountain on the other side of it. Should be pretty. I wish I could place a bridge to the right of the house though; that's the only vertical river space I have in my town, so all my bridge have to be vertical (and I have one diagonal space but I care for it). :(

I also wish I had moved the camp site down a little bit... as it is I can only put one row of trees behind it, and I would have preferred to stagger them so it would look more natural.

But oh well! I'm rolling with it. :D

Loosing Penelope. She was one of my first friends in my towns and we always talked. One day she randomly packed up without telling me.

Allowing Butch to stay. The day that he was going to move out? Merengue in campsite. Full town.

mostly the same qualms as everyone else:

*not being more patient while choosing my village location. mine's okay, but i've seen much better layouts. as soon as i got a map with re-tail located where i wanted, i snatched it up without considering other factors. it would've been nice to have oranges as my native fruit, too, or maybe apples (i love their 'perfect' design).
*naming my mayor after myself instead of letting her just be a fictional character completely separated from me. (how many times can i say I, ME ME, MY) (she's pretty much her own, now, but sharing the same name is odd and i wish i could rename her.)
*letting groucho move out like two days before april first without getting his photo. :c
*giving my villagers stupid items before realising it ruined their interior designs. sterling... your house was so pretty...
*letting myself get carried away during collecting holidays like festivale and bunny day and losing many precious hours of my life because i have an obsessive&adddictive personality and get way too caught-up in the events.
*placement of some of my pwps, like the reset centre, and especially my police station. (i was getting aggravated with benedict never pinging to move out, so the one time he was like 'I'M MOVING!!!!! ...LOL NO JK, JK' i placed the station riiiight in front of his house out of spite. benedict's finally gone, but it's kind of just... in the way now.)

bonus round: i can tell that not plot resetting for villagers is going to bite me in the butt someday, but i've been too lazy to do so thus far and i see the trend continuing indefinitely. (or, well, until my dreamies all plant themselves somewhere dumb.)

i've invested way too much time in my current town, though, and i'm very attached, so there's no ding dang diddly darn chance in heck that i'm resetting.

I wouldn't call it the 'BIGGEST' but I do wish I could change my mayor's face type. Also, I wish I plot reset for Frita. Still trying to get her to move out.

So, you know, common regrets.

When I first started playing I didn't worry about placement so now I'm kinda running out of room before I can start on some of my ideas so I just regret not planning ahead and having better placement!
