Well it could be some type of hominid that has gone unnoticed or lives in undergrounds caves, in trees, etc.; or somehow crossbred with humans.

This hominid/ape maybe can dig trenches and cover itself up, and be nocturnal. Or it (I don't want to assume that it is male or female) could have killed those who have closely examined or witnessed it.

I've never seen why the Big Foot is "legendary". As far as I'm concerned, it's just some animal that's eluded us somehow, given that it even exists. Nothing spooky or mythical about it.

The one you can buy for $499? I think we can all agree that this may or may not be "Bigfoot" however there are other ape-hominids out there.
