Between New Leaf and New Horizons, which game had better music?

New Leaf. I think it's kind of unfair to say that one is better than the other because it's memorable, though. There are a lot of songs that I like and don't even remember a lot of them with time. That being said, I don't know what New Horizons' music sounds like because I play the game on a monitor that has no speakers.

Man I forgot how good the NL music was since I'm listening to it for the first time in years. I think NH music is good in a way that is more energetic and has more energy like the current game does, but the NL ones for sure are more calming and more of a retreat.

Both are good, it's hard for me to choose

i personally much prefer new leaf's

my fav hour of new horizons is 5am bc in my opinion its most reminiscent of NL

Definitely New Leaf. There are a few in New Horizons I've grown to really love but I'm either never awake for them or I'm too distracted to notice them (because they tend to be softer and less noticeable). What I really dislike the most about the music in New Horizons is how non-Animal Crossing it feels. Specifically the jazzy/funkier tunes. I'm not a fan of that style of music in general. I don't know that I can grow to even appreciate them. I tend to mute the game during those hours.

New Leaf, New Horizons kinda fades out and mutes into my ears for some reason. I remembered looking forward to hearing New Leaf's OST in the morning. lol

I liked New Leaf's music much better than NH's. It seems that I'm in the majority here.
