so i'm trying to get pashmina to move out since one of my friends is offering me merengue, but i feel like i've tried every TT-related method and it's not working.

does anyone have any tips/advice? much appreciated!

People say to TT 15 days ahead and look for the thought bubble.
Move-outs are completely random though so you're just unlucky that Pashmina doesn't want to budge.

This is what I've been following and it works pretty well.

1. Talk to everyone you see outside, if you wanna go so far as to talk to people inside you can, but it really doesn't matter.
2. Save, quit, close down the game, move the date up 15 days. Make sure the time is between 11am-4pm
3. Once in the game, run around and see if you can find the villager with thought bubbles. They will be outside. If you cannot find them, or there is a fishing tournament (or sometimes rain, but I have gotten a ping with rain) TT ahead one more day. I've had to do this up to 5 days, but you will get a ping.
4. If it's someone you wanna keep, tell them don't go and repeat steps 1-3. You can move forward 6 days between and talk again. It will work either way (I've had more success with the 6 day jump between)
5. If you want them to move, say bye, TT one day and they will be all boxed up, ready for a new adventure.

I TT 15 days and look for the bubble, adding a day every time I don't see one. If a villager pings and it's not the one you want, tell them not to go and TT another 15 days, etc. If it is, tell them to leave.

I've also heard that if you ignore a ping for the day, the next day another villager will ping but I don't know if this is true

Yup, TT around 15 days at a time and there's usually a villager that will ping. If you don't find anyone, TT 1 day at a time until you see a ping. If it's not the villager you want, repeat the 15 day TT. It is random though so it can take a couple of minutes, to a couple of hours. Hope Pashmina moves out soon!

Edit: Also I've found doing it in the middle of the day, around noon-3 pm is good and saturdays/events usually are less likely to have someone move out.
