I just found out Lucha is moving in. I do not want this Satan bird and want him gone ASAP so what is the best way to get rid of a villager?

lmao satan bird xD

I think the fastest is to TT. but if you do not, maybe you can befriend him since the closer your relation with your villager, the greater the chance he'll ping to move? Based on my experience, the villagers I always care more than the others pinged me saying they wanna move twice as much as other villagers. I think that's the way.. But idk if others got any better tricks :D

Befriend him. When I'm trying to get a villager out I write them two letters a day, with gifts, give them everything they ask for and talk to them as often as possible. But TTing will speed the process up considerably.

To decrease the chances of your other villagers pinging, start talking to them less. Stay on speaking terms so they WILL ping if they want to move, but don't do favours for them, write letters, etc. Concetrate on building a super strong friendship with the unwanted villager and they will be the most likely to leave.

I've always done the exact opposite :U I completely ignore the villagers I want to leave, and talk to the ones I want to stay at least twice a day. I always figured being nice to them would make them want to stay...

Both befriending and ignoring works.

Seeing as they're a new move-in, it's best to greet them and then never talk to them again.

Befriending them works better if you already talked a bit to them.

Aw, I have Lucha and he's so sweet >.>

Anyway, I think you have to let another villager move in before you let the most recent villager to move in out. I'm not sure the accuracy of that, but I think you might want to TT around and get someone you want in your town from the campsite.
So I suggest to just talk to him once and never talk to him again. I do this with quite a few villagers, and it works quite well.
