Best time of day for sharks?

I notice that sometimes when I go to the island I don't see any sharks at all and other times I see tons of them. Is this based on time of day or just luck? Thanks!

I just catch them in tons in the night. When I'm on the island before 6pm I don't catch any sharks, ar just like 1-3. So I would suggest: Go there at night!

When there is a shark fin shadow, it's always guaranteed to be a type of shark. There won't be any Ocean Sunfish.

usually i find them at around 5pm or 6:30pm and onward
