Best Method to get that one UGLY villager out of your town?!

HELP! I've spent the last 6 hours today trying to get Tucker out of my town. I've read 3 different methods: 1) Ignore the villager 2) Harass the villager 3) TT and see whose moving and repeat until the one you want moved. What method should I be doing?

Ignoring/harassing don't work. You just have to TT until they randomly ping you.

I had that same issue with snake, but I did this and it worked flawlessly:
Create a new villager, go introduce yourself to every single villager, than talk to all of them again, EXCEPT for who you want to move out.
for 7 days, go and talk to all villagers except the one villager you want to move out at least once. On the 7th (or maybe 8th) day, that villager will ping you to move.

Yeah, what they said ^. harassing or ignoring will not work, you just have to wait until they ping you to ask to leave. and my mistake i made when trying to get astrid out (her house was RIGHT in front of mine, ugh) was that i ignored her and i wasnt on speaking terms with her, so she would never even ping me. make sure your close enough for them to ping you!

If misspiggy's technique ends up not-working for you, try being extra-nice to that villager. Raise their friendship level. It typically seems as though the ones that are closest friends with you are more likely to ping.

What I did was waited until someone pinged me. Then when I told them no, I would go forward 4 days and talk to a few villagers to see who was planning on moving out. Make sure you talk to them several times. If no one says anything go forward day by day and talk to the villagers you chose to talk to. If they mention someone is moving fond them and let them ping you. Tell them yes or no if you want them to leave or not. If you've ignored the villager you want to leave, talk to them once your villagers say they're thinking of moving, save and quit then boot your game up and find that villager so they can ping you.

I had to do this when Agnes suddenly moved into my main town. It took a lot of tt'ing but it works.

Thank you guys... I will try! It was so annoying Flurry and Whitney both asked to leave 3 times while Tucker didn't even try to move once! I will keep trying though ^.^
