Last week I adopted Freya, who is my 2nd to last dreamie for Luneta. Which means that in order for me to get my final dreamie for Luneta, my remaining unwanted villager (Caroline) has to move out. I figured it would take a loooong time for that to happen, but I logged on today to hear the rumor from Shari...that Caroline is thinking of moving out!! I almost dropped my 3DS and started dancing. So lucky!!

What's the best luck you've ever had in ACNL?

Hmm, a lot of good things have happened and it's hard to remember them all. Some more recent things: A villager (one I didn't even like) gave me a throne! I didn't need it, so I sold it to Reese for 200K. And Willow was at the campsite. I love her and I had room, so I invited her to move in. I recently got Filbert, too. If Maple ever shows up, my life will be complete!

I think my best luck was when Marina moved in randomly. I had alot of ugly villagers back then (Iggly had moved in 3 squares away from my house... UGH) so it was quite the surprise to see one of my dreamies move in.

i got lolly to move in with the help of another user, and i was able to plot reset her into the exact spot i wanted her in in only two tries :D

I got O'Hare off someone on this forum and accidentally opened the game with my mayor instead of an alt... but he moved in exactly where I wanted him to go. I was prepared to spend hours resetting to get him into that spot!

Every accidental move out I've had, all the villagers (whom I've wanted to keep) have gone to my siblings' towns. With the 16 villager cycle, I'll be able to get them back!

On top of that, I've been able to get most of my dreamies :)

Biskit moving in unknowingly when i just looked at pictures of him on Google and in a very decent spot!

Rooney giving me the 1mil throne (practically its between 800k-900k) on a small visit.

there are too many but recently one of my villager had moved out and i was worried that the new villager will set his plot randomly somewhere but it turns out that he set it perfectly on a empty space and align with the house next to it. pretty lucky with villagers house plot tbh

Erik and Cherry were random move-ins and Fang and Peanut were two of my starting villagers (which is the very first town I got when starting up the game. No resets!) When I villager reset for Marshal, he was the very second villager that showed up among all the possible smug personality villagers and he plotted down adjacent to Ankha.

I remember wanting Pietro so badly. One day I let a reddit user come and adopt my smug eagle, Keaton. Then I logged onto the bell tree forums, someone was giving Pietro away! I truly felt like it was destiny :D I quickly messaged him and I'm so grateful for his generosity. Pietro is a big part of my town and I can't imagine it without him.

After a long time of searching for Hamlet I was finally going to get him from someone in a German forum. Unfortunately on the day I was supposed to pick him up the other person had connection issues and I didn't get Hamlet after all... the next morning he was camping in my town!! I was sooo happy :p

I get a lot of top teir villagers in my camp site. Diana, Merengue, Ankha, and Sprinkle. I have plans to sell most of them.

Ah, when Fauna moved in from the campsite, and the next villager in there was Diana. In my second town, Julian was a random move in after I had just started it.

I got Beau from random move in and his house is at perfectly-perfect spot. and then later, as a gift for him, I build the hammock PWP (which he requested), just steps away in front of his house lol

on other side tho, the worst luck i had: when Marina was in campsite but the day before, Del moved in at random making my town population at max :/

I had 2 really lucky moments:

The first one, I burried a tree so I can cut it down later to sit on it, while it was growing I put lots of flowers around it (I was just landscaping) and when I cut that tree, there was a flower stump on it (if it was a normal tree I would've left it but it's really cool coincidence).

The second one, I once invited 2 villagers to my town in the same day, Graham and Marshal, I was really afraid that one of them doesn't come (especially Marshal because he's a dreamie but Graham isn't, but I still like him). And the next day, Marshal moved in and Graham still hasn't come and I guess he's never coming xD

I've always been really lucky with plot placement. each villager moved into a spot so perfect that it looks like I did plot set!

I have had the two Uchi villagers move in as neighbours--Phoebe & Muffy live next to each other & they also live near where I wanted the picnic area & bus stop--so perfect as they are Uchi suggestions.

Freya moved in next to Lobo & Kid Cat--in a nice little row.

Keaton (a smug) moved to a secluded spot by a waterfall--which is such a romantic location & fitting for his personality.

The cranky with a heart of gold--Wart Jr has his shack near the path to the beach & next to the lighthouse---very fitting for a cranky type that loves ocean fishing.

When Zucker lived in my town he moved in right next door to Marina! It was very cute.

I now have Tangy living in the spot where Zucker was, as Marina's neighbour. So the two cute sweethearts live side by side. :)

Colton lives far away from me near the station near the other player Ziggy--which is perfect as I don't like him, but he (Colton) seems to have a crush on all the males in town, so I guess lucky Colton.

As you can see they are eerily perfect placements!
