In a previous town, I got Ankha from the campsite!
It was actually a town that got deleted unintentionally. Getting Ankha was very coincidentional, considering she was on my mind a lot for the past couple days before that happened.
I finally got the two dog villagers I've been looking for; Goldie and Cookie. Cookie was one of my originals and I was so heartbroken when she moved out so I'm glad I finally got her back. I've always like Goldie because she reminds me of my childhood dog so it was my mission to get her. Now my town is complete and I can finally play without anything to worry about
I've been incredibly lucky with move-ins; they haven't been random (all other people's voided villagers moving in via streetpass), but they've all been really good
One time I was bored and decided to randomly fish, and I caught two dorado in a row! I donated one, and I think I still have the other in storage somewhere. The same thing happened in Wild World too! I was randomly fishing, and suddenly caught like 3 dorado back then. I was shocked, and my friend was too, and I ended up donating one in each of our museums and kept the third for myself.
As far as villagers go, I've noticed something that's super creepy. Every time a villager cycles and leaves, a new one almost immediately plots in the lower half of the town. I haven't yet had a single villager plot in my upper half yet since I began the game last year. I'm pretty happy though, since it gives me more room to plant my cedar and bamboo forests.
was farming on the island. i spotted two sharks in the same spot and i managed to catch both. right after that, another shark appeared on the same spot after i caught the 2 lol. there was also a golden stag on one of the tress right after i caught those 3 sharks. another lucky moment was when i caught a napolean fish (my favorite) on the island as well. didnt know they could appear on the island.
