jocks are my favorite so i will fight you on this with various quotes

I am mostly trying to decide between Ribbot and Rudy, but I am open to other suggestions as well! I also like Teddy, but I don't think I want another bear in my town, because I will probably have two soon.

I like all three, but I want to try someone new.

Between the two you mentioned, Rudy.

Other suggestions are Teddy and Tank.

It's disappointing, but also wholly unsurprising after being a member of the forums for years, that there is so little love being shown to Ribbot in this thread. Between the two of them, I prefer Ribbot over Rudy by a wide margin. Ribbot is a wholly unique design, one of only two robotic villagers in the series up to this point. Rudy's just another cat. I encourage you to give Ribbot a chance!

Aside from Ribbot and Rudy, other jocks I would recommend are Bud, Mott, Sprocket, and Sterling. Bud and Mott because of their (sun)glasses giving them a unique look (and because I really like Mott), Sprocket because he's the other robotic villager and that's a plus, and Sterling because of his knightly appearance and the great interior design scheme in his house.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I just moved Rudy in, because ultimately I felt like he fit better with my other villagers than Ribbot, even though I think I might actually prefer Ribbot if it were another town. Some of the other suggestions were really good, but I already had 2 of that particular species in my town (As is the case with Teddy/Poncho - I didn't want three bear-like villagers in one town, as I already have Groucho and I'm planning on moving in Ursala later.) Thank you all for your help. Continue discussing best villager if u want though, as I like reading people's opinions. haha
