I have been using an ipad 9th generation to play some of my games; right now I only have Persona Phantom X and Genshin Impact on them. Not much else is on it yet it keeps crashing. From what I read, it has nothing to do with the storage and it is the ram. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on a tablet or laptop that could handle a lot of games without lag and crashes?

For laptop recommendations, ideally I’d want something that could runs the sims 3 with no problems, mmos and more and still have a lot of room left and not lag or crash

For tablet, something that could run multiple mobile games without lagging or crashing at all

What would the price ranges be for both tablet and laptop recommendations?

Computer prices have been rapidly rising due to the AI bubble and it's getting much more expensive to buy new parts or devices. I bought some memory for my desktop last month and now the price for it has more than doubled.

Although, I'd still suggest an Acer Nitro laptop. I had one for several years before getting my current desktop PC and it was a nice compromise between price and power (for the time). Even now the newest models are still commonly under $900. You probably won't be able to play the newest games with amazing performance on them, but they'd be more than serviceable for the games you mentioned wanting to play.

As for tablets, I've had good experiences with my current iPad A16. It was $300 and while the built in storage is limited and the colors on the screen aren't the most vibrant, it's good enough for any art or games I want to use it for.

Not sure about tablets, but I found a great gaming laptop during a Black Friday sale, MSI Katana 15 HX. Usually I've preferred to build my own PC but as mentioned, the price of hardware has been ridiculous in this past few years, and I was getting very limited in how far I would be able to take my current build. Anyway this laptop from what I've seen, seems to run anything on max settings without issue. 'Can You Run It' says about 99% of games. The most demanding game I played so far was Clair Obscur Expedition 33 and it looks and runs perfect. I think the normal price for this laptop was around 1600. If I had to guess, other Katana models would probably be good too. As always when picking a PC, carefully compare the specs. I looked over lots of different options before narrowing it down to this one.
