I need to get rid of Hippeux ASAP and I need to see some guides or something on methods to quickly rid a villager. At first, I was going to use the TT 2 forward and back trick, since it's worked in the past, but lately I've had some seriously awful luck IRL and in game, so I don't wanna take the risk. Anyone have anything?

And yes, I will TT if that helps. :)

Make a new character, and introduce yourself to the villager on it, but make sure that you only speak to the villager once, and then never again, and they will move away in around a weeks time :)

TT back and forth between 2 days only. Someone will want to leave within 4-5 days in-game.

I need to get them out ASAP, so I need to play everyday for 7 days? :/

I think you can just TT 7 days into the future, and then they should ping and tell you that they?re gonna move, I heard about it on youtube, and tried it, and it worked for me.

Should I play, TT, and continue for 7 days to avoid the risk of losing a beloved villager?

while doing this you don't want to just skip 7 days at once go day by day and make sure to talk to all villagers you like because one of your loved villagers might move!

Basically what I meant. Guess the wording was wrong. Okay, thanks everyone! :D

@edit: wow ninja'd big time xD I'm on my phone, so it took a while to write this, sorry!

TTing multiple days at a time is *never* a safe method (unless someone already wants to leave and you're just skipping to their moving day). I know several people who lost dream villagers thanks to this.

+ the 'new character' method hasn't worked for me and tbh, I don't believe there's any way to manipulate who leaves and when. Basically, at the start of each day, the game may bless a neighbour with the will to venture into a new town. Whether they're your BFF or have been smacked with a net for two months straight - neither factor influences the progress. It's just completely random. (Do make sure to treat unwanted animals well, though, otherwise they'll just go "on second thought, I'm staying until we become better friends")

What I do is TT patiently, day by day. Much more time-consuming than popular 2-days methods, but I prefer to be on the safe side.

There is no way that's "best" or "fastest". It's a completely random pattern, and the techniques out there are normally not safe. If you want them to leave, just treat them well and make them become your best friend. They'll leave sooner and won't have second thoughts.

Like I said, fast. Like, the end of the day fast. Becoming friends would take too long.

The new villager intro method has worked for me 2 times out of 3. But I'm finding that the better friends you are with them, the higher chance they will ask to move out.

I was trying for ages to move Peewee out, but because he'd never asked me for any favours, my friendship didn't increase with him and it took him ages to ask to move.

Don't talk to them very much, then suddenly become best friends with them, and send them weird letters with gifts they dont like.

I did that to marcel and he moved out within 5 days.

Okay, I went forward, back, forward, and back again. Peanut pinged. Think I should just do this until Hippeux pings?

This is a s00per dangerous method that, while moving out many villagers and is pretty quick, has also cost me two dreamies.
Personally, I use http://bamdom.tumblr.com/post/57682343411/alternatively-titled-how-to-get-your-dream But it does take a loooong time in some cases. I introduced myself to Merengue and I'm 95% sure I didn't talk to her after that, and I've TT'd for two months total and she still has yet to ping. x______x

If you use the TT trick it WILL NOT screw you over if you don't go more than two days but I haven't figured out the best way to get a specific villager to move. I've tried ignoring them, talking to them way more than everyone else, reporting the to Isabelle, denying all their requests, and whacking them with the net and it still seems totally random. You just have to make sure you talk to everyone you want to keep before you TT again so you can convince them to stay. If you have less than 10 villagers you'll probably pick up some more unwanted villagers on your way to getting him out, though.
