Listen to a lot of rock, alternative, pop, etc. Favourite era of music for me would be 1960s-80s. 70s would probably be my favourite? I don't know. I don't like music that sounds over-processed. There is some good stuff coming out these days but not in the volume that there was back in the day. Don't mind a few early 2000's bands either. So yeah, not totally against modern music, I do listen to some of the more mainstream indie stuff (though not A tier famous stuff, not interested in modern pop atm).
Can't top 60s-80s though, especially the 70s. The Beatles, Extreme, Rolling Stones, T-Rex, The Doors, Foreigner, INXS, Led Zeppelin, the police, the list could go on forever. I could never pick a favourite artists/group.
