Best cycling method for this situation?

I'm trying to get Julian out of my town for a trade, and I have two dreamies currently in my town, Ankha and Merry. I'm currently going two days forward and back, but is there anything I can do to get specifically Julian into boxes?

talk to him a lot. talk to him until he wont talk to you any more and then save and quit to tt.

for me talking to them as much as possible always helps. I think the game wants you to experience and befriend every villager, so ignored villagers usually stay longer, in my experience. the talking to them method worked on kidd & gabi for me.

I've just been kinda making sure Merry and Ankha aren't moving then TT-ing on lol I tried talking to Julian and we'll see if it works!
(also i'm alright I just have pressure from AP exams and stuff and my best friend kinda broke my heart but I did get your Skype message! I just forgot to reply!)

that's really outdated and really dangerous
