Best and Worst personality?

It was a term another user referred to them as. I typically call them mean and extremely rude. I don't see "funny" in anything they do or say.

My favorites are peppy and smug! I love how hyper and friendly peppies are, and smugs are always fun.
Since snooties weren't made as rude as before in NH, I don't really dislike them anymore, but I guess I still don't like them as much. Same with cranky. I actually do like the jocks though.

Now that you kind of mentioned Nookpedia I just realized that there are kind of counterparts to each personality. Uchi = Cranky Snooty = Smug Jock = Peppy except for Lazy = normal though, I don't think they fit.

They are too nerfed they should just be called "Fancy personalities at this point." Crankies should be Fatherly since they aren't rude anymore, their just basically uchi male
my favourite would be uchi and my least favourite would be jock. but I literally haven't even seen 1 line of cranky dialogue yet so I'm hardly an authority lol
uchis feel the most real to me though. the rest of the personalities feel almost like caricatures because they're pretty exaggerated in a lot of ways. even normals, despite being called "normal" feel just a bit too kind for me.
love em all tho of course. also love snooties, definitely a close second to uchis

I like all personalities, but if I had to choose, for males it would be a draw between lazy and cranky, and for females uchi is starting to raise up in the ranks (I didn't play much New Leaf so I hadn't really met them). I just wish personalities didn't equal gender.
For worst...I guess Jocks? I think their dialogue it's too extreme, I love how determined and goofy they can be with their mindset, but when they talk about bulging muscles while they fish I'm like ''could you not give me those details pls?''

Agreed. Snooty doesn't seem to live up to its name. They act a little more classy and mature compared to the other villagers, but that's about it.
preach honestly. any personality works on any gender imo.
I mean CJ is basically a male peppy

I chose Jocks Rather hurriedly because i was like "Well, Sparro's my favorite villager and Snake and Sprocket are good too!"
Now that i think about it, i'd choose Peppy for best and Snooty for worst.

Just got my first snooty today so couldn’t fully judge them yet. I like how Uchis go from “this island isn’t big enough for both of us” to “you can always rely on me.” When I started, I was really set on getting rid of Muffy because of that attitude, but I saw that she developed and actually kinda got attached. Sadly there’s only room for 10 so I had to let her go, but was crying inside because I’d miss her. As for worst, the whole bug business with lazies kinda bother me.
Yeah! I understand each personality it's a counterpart, like Peppy = Jock, Normal/sweet = Lazy, and I appreciate they aren't carbon copies of each other, but I just can't help but think of sweet or peppy males, jock and cranky girls...
I do believe the counterparts more similar to each other are snooty and smug, as they feel like ''the fancy personalities'' for me, but the others feel different enough to mix with the genders
i like all of the personalities!! imo there isn't a worst but if i had to pick my least favorite it would be normal. normals are kinda boring.... but the villagers themselves are cute design wise. i used to like jocks the least during my new leaf days, but now i think it's kinda funny that they yell about their 42 abs and biceps having biceps and wanting to be rivals, they're pretty upbeat.

I don't know that I really have a least favorite villager personality. I feel like my least favorites should be jock and peppy, because of how redundant their dialogue can be and (in the case of jocks) I have no interest in sports. But I feel like my jock (Jitters) has such a sweet personality. And I feel like my peppy villagers (Sprinkle and Apple) give off completely different vibes even when they do talk about the same things. Some of the letters my peppy villagers have sent have been especially delightful. One that comes to mind was when they write about glitter glue.
