I have been selling sharks. And Bugs... What about you?

Selling bugs! I messed up and didn't get the chance to buy the tool I didn't have from Isabelle. >.< SO I'm going crazy catching all the buggies I can find! I've been bitten by that tarantula already. =P

Bugs, fish, shells, and fruit. I have racked up about 60,000 bells in savings today and paid off my first loan to Nook.

Yeah, I was surprised at how many bells the money rock gave. I've never gotten this much from it.

Two words. THE. ISLAND. Holy crap. I go there every day after 7pm and easily get over 130k bells with one fishing/bug catching trip.

Ya! In City Folk it was possible, but you had to have a certain yellow feng shui in your house (or something like that). In this you don't have to have anything special!

I didn't get the fishing pole yet so I am catching plenty of bugs and picking up shells. I have also hit all the rocks in town with my shovel to find the money rock and the gem rock. Also shook all the trees to get the bells that were hiding.

Fruit, and bugs. That is all I can really do for the moment... No fishing rod yet. And I'm wasting lots of money designing things.

Selling a bunch of fish. :[ I only have a fishing rod, so fish was all I could do. Made a total of about 80,000 bells from all the fish I sold.

Catching bugs, fishing for sharks, and selling foreign fruit! Didn't expect to do much on the first day but I ended up playing for ~5 hours. hah ;_;

I made 100k+. Although, I did play the game non-stopped today. As long as you haul a bunch of fish/bugs, you should make a decent amount.

Just plain old fishing is what I do for bells. I do try and find the bell rock though, it's pretty useful.

When i felt i had enough money; i just donated everything that was not in the museum already.

Fishing! It is the best money maker in my opinion, but I'm going to start giving the stalk market a try. I always ignored it in previous games.
