Le me while watching bayoneta trailer

Her games are great, Bayonetta as a character is great, and the way they get around her more mature aspects is pretty amazing.

I definitely wanted other characters in Smash, and I wasn't expecting her at all, but I was 100% not disappointed.
 
I had no idea who she was until the reveal, but I'm 100% satisfied. Not just because of the tight clothes. She looks really unique, and has some amazing combos. I downloaded the demo for bayonetta 2 after seeing that, and I love it.
 
I didn't really know her before she was revealed, and I don't mind her, I guess I'm happy there are some more female reps in smash lol. I guess Corrin was a letdown for me because I didn't really want anymore more FE characters, even though I am really excited for Fates haha
 
she's pefect for smash. her design looks really cool (I especially love her gun heels) and her fighting style is unique. she and rayman were the characters I really wanted in smash. I'm glad she's in

I don't like Bayonetta as a character, I thought she was the worst part of the games...But I don't really mind/care that she's been included. Yano, I'll just not use her, problem solved. Can't please everybody.

Even if they did add somebody I really liked, there's no guarantee I'll even like playing as them anyway *stares at Megaman*, so it's not really something I'm losing sleep over. It's not like I don't already have a good handful of characters I already like using.



I was only disappointed that she's the only character chosen from the ballot. I presumed they were going to pick three characters (1st, 2nd and 3rd place. It seemed like a logical thing to do) and as far as I'm aware, Cloud and Corrin weren't picked as part of the ballot.

This would have disappointed me regardless of who won, even if I didn't like 2nd and 3rd either. I kinda just want more characters to fight against rather than hoping for any particular characters I like to be introduced.

Cloud actually may be an "unofficial" result from the ballot. During the presentation they say they had a lot of requests for FF characters in Smash, and that Cloud was the most requested. Granted, they never specifically mentions the ballot, but it seems pretty obvious that the fighter ballot at least contributed to his inclusion in the game - because how else would they know which FF character had been requested the most?
 
I could never get into those games much. But i am glad theres another woman , who isnt just a princess is coming in the series.

im happy she got in she is super awesome! now her in smash has turned me into a obsessed freak about her... i even take my custom my little pony i made of her everywhere i go.... (dont judge)

Her games are great.

Don't really know how or why she's in smash (the ballot was obviously rigged, they were 100% going to add her regardless since I think they bought the rights for her from Sega 2 make Bayonetta 2).

Ridiculously broken.

A lot of her moves are sort of extreme and over powered in comparison to other brawlers in sm4sh, for instance her witch time.

Alts are cool.

Stage is cool.

She just needs a big nerf and then I'd probably consider using her.

I mean whilst we're on the topic it's a little concerning how over sexualised she is.

It's a bit surprising how a character from a game that's rated 18 made it into a game aimed at children.

But either way I see what you're getting at. For a game that's rated 12, Bayonetta came as a shock to me, but either way I'm not disappointed. They managed to find some ways over the maturity, I suppose, but her poses when she wins are a little too.. extreme? In a way? for children?
Probably not as I was into all the fighting and swearing and terrible stuff when I was that age anyway but you never know.

Yeah, 2 is rated 16 whilst 1 is rated 18.

Agreed. I can't believe that some people argued that zero suit was too sexual; I'd love to see their reactions to Bayonetta lol.
I mean so was I, but there are a lot of parents out there that take the age ratings on games into consideration before purchasing them for their kids (though I suppose in this day and age where pretty much everything young teenagers see is sexualised why bother).

I like her character but at the same time I don't like how she's been represented in smash. It feels like for the last DLC character Sakurai and the team really wanted to go the extra mile to make things "special".
 
I like how everyone who is disappointed in Bayonetta's inclusion never played any of the Bayonetta games.

It's like saying that you don't like a certain dish by only the looks of it and not going to eat it because of that.
