Battle of the uchis! Reneigh vs Deirdre

Hey all!

Now I know we shouldn't be pitting two powerful women against each other, but I need to decide on an uchi for my island and they are my two main choices. I'm going for a country/rustic/forest theme and I want my uchi villager to be a farmer and take care of the orchard, and I can't decide on one of them.

On the one hand I already have Reneigh (though in her starter furniture) and I never expected to like her, but I do! I'm just not a fan of her house in general, but I think a horse would work great as a farmer, lol. As for Deirdre, I think she'd fit the town a tiny bit more, I love her house (exterior and interior) and her design is okay, but she'd be my third deer. I figured asking around could help me, so here we are!

Who do you prefer and why?

I love Reneigh! You can get her real house by trading her to a friend and having them trade her back, and she'll still remember you--I did it for my Reneigh and her actual house is much cuter than the starter one. I'd personally pick her.

Deirdre on the other hand is the only deer whose design I'm not too big a fan of, but her house is gorgeous! If you like her and don't think having 3 deer would bore you, then go for her.

i’m not the biggest fan of reneigh but i do like deirdre! i’m probably biased since i love deers but deirdre is such a cutie and her house interior is so pretty, too ;u;

Deirdre is better, Reneigh is alright but I prefer Julian as a horse (unicorn lol)

i love deirdre!!! i had her in new leaf and i have her in new horizons!
i think deirdre is a totally cutie and imo i feel her design stands out from a lot of the other deer villagers

It's a hard one! I had them both, but I bonded with Reneigh more. I loved Deirdre's house interior and style though!

I’ve also had both them both and I would back Deirdre 100%. Reneigh is forgettable while Deirdre has that extra spunk.

Dierdre has a pretty amazing fall themed home (at least it was in NL). Her design is pretty intricate too when you look at it. Ultimately, I've only had Dierdre so I choose her.

Reneigh is my new favorite uchi (though I'm never fond of uchi in general). Deirdre is okay but I will choose Fuchsia over her.

Deirdre is the only uchi I want on my island, although there are a few others I like too. Her house is gorgeous and it would fit well with your rustic farmer theme. Reneigh also looks a bit too glammed up to be a farmer imo.

I'm personally partial toward Deirdre, although I've never actually had either of those two villagers.
