Based on the data mine, wouldn’t this be the “easiest” way to move out villagers without TT? (Amiibo cards needed)

Say you want to move someone out, and say you have random amiibo cards lying around. Assuming what we know about data mining is true, and friendship does impact villagers moving out: if you invite someone via camp, that’s a clean start (no friendship), so if you begin smacking them + not talking to them, shouldn’t they move out the fastest?

I’m trying this out with a villager. I have an amiibo of a villager I don’t want but want to test it out!

Edit: also you could use TT for this as well, lol. I just meant to say, I don’t TT, so it would be my easiest way

Based friendship starts at 25 for any new villager. The max points you can get is 255 and the lowest is 0. It's far more effective to incase your friendship with the villagers you want to stick around.

Technically yes. In the end you're still at the mercy of RNG. There are rumors that the most recent move-in will not move out.

Sorry, could you elaborate more?

I believe they are saying it's more effective to increase friendship with the villagers you want to keep, that way they'll have a smaller chance of asking to move, which means the villager you don't want gets priority.

This is based on the datamine information. You have a friendship score with every villager from 0-255 points. New villagers start with 25 points. You get more points with them by talking to them, giving gifts, returning lost items, playing games, or doing quests or deliveries. You lose points by giving them trash or or hitting them with a net. The move out is weighted towards villagers you have low friendship with and it's much easier to increase friendship with villagers.

According to the data mine, this is true. You can only remove them via camper or amiibo.

RNG will still play a role. I personally have villagers who I know I interact with the most ask to move out versus villagers that I don't interact with as much.

Also, unless they changed it recently, villagers will not ask to move out if there's a special event in your island or if KK is visiting (Saturdays).
