Bamboo troubles

I planted a bush, a bamboo shoot and an apple tree on both sides of my path, but as you can see the tree died (died on both sides) .. what did I do wrong? Also why isn't the bamboo "trunks" brown as I've seen them in other towns? xD I've never really tried planting bamboos untill now..

Bamboo spacing act the same way as trees so the sapling is too close to the bamboo. You need to have one more space between them for it to grow.

anyone have any answers of why the trunks isnt brown ..? is it because of the season or?

If you want the trunks to be brown, then you have to cut it before it is fully grown

I think the bamboo is the reason why the trees saplings died. Bamboo are only brown If they one day to full grown. Full grown bamboo are completely green.

Definitely the spacing. I've been having so many problems with just planting bushes it's ridiculous....
And trees for that matter. Haven't even attempted the bamboo yet!
