Bamboo Question

Hi! Just wondering, can bamboo be placed right next to each other?

No, it dies if it's directly next to other bamboo. There has to be space for the shoots to appear.

I think the same rules for trees apply to bamboo. As long as the new bamboo is not in the shadow of the existing bamboo, you should be good.

Ok! Thanks! Also, is it possible to prevent shoots from appearing, Bamboo is spawning like crazy in my town

It show a star dig spot about 2 spaces away. Dig it up and sell or eat it...it won't grow that way.

Just plant some flowers around it or put a path, it should prevent them from growing.

Same rule applies to bamboo as does trees. Bamboo do, however, sprout a ton of other ones around them. To avoid that you should plant a lot of flowers or put patterns around them so they can't do that. I believe it has a 3~4 tile radius when it spreads seeds.

How do you get bamboo?

The gardening store sells it after upgrading, as far as I know.

A resident can give it to you as well, which is how I got my first bamboo...from there, it spawns like mad
