Ok so I've been trading and selling on Nookazon a few times but i just had the weirdest situation so far. I wanted to get the soft serve lamp in color blue, and it said that she would be doing a touch trade. Ok so i offered her a sand castle to touch trade (which was on her wishlist), and went to her island. After we touch traded the first twoitems, she the left more items in the counter, and i thought that i had made a mistake and had taken her item back instead of mine, but then she left another item in the counter and I thought that i had made the same mistake and i left the item i had just taken and then left it back to take the other one. And then she started asking for some nook mile tickets, when i hadn't even offered them. She kept saying to double check my offer because I had offered some nook mile tickets that i offered and i continusly said no, because i didn't offer any. And i hadn't. Then she told me to check my offers better for next time. By then i just went back to my island . But to my surprise, i checked my telenook app and saw that i had cataloged three variations of the soft serve lamp. I'm really confused. What do you think?

It seems like she was trying to trick you. Whatever you used to message her with (discord or the nookazon chat), she could obviously see that you didn't mention nmts. Right? It's logged in there.

Did she give you a bad review from that?

I have had a similar experience! In hindsight, I think some people try to trick you to pay more... with me, the person deleted the original advertisement and my bid, so I could not check what I had offered. In that sense, I fell for it.. because I felt guilty and thought I was wrong.. so I paid more. Instead of the 15 NMTs I had offered for Peanut (I am pretty sure I offered that), I paid 25. And now I feel stupid for going along with it.

Good on you you did not! This is not your fault, so just try to forget this bad experience. From other trades I learned Nookazon is not that bad, since then I have only had positive experiences and met some very kind people on there!

Surprisingly she did not, she actually left a good review and I think she might have made a mistake as she said on the review she left me. Still though, if she was mistaken she was a bit rude to me, when she was the one mistaken

nothing was lost? I think it might have been a misunderstanding. they probably has several trade going on the same time.

I strongly dislike going into ppl's island and there's a line of four or five ppl. things get so scattered especially when they wrap the items. as a personal experience. i bought a birthday cake on nookazon and was given a mom cake when it was my turn on the queue. I mentioned it and they changed it right away.

Wow, I'm sorry that you had that experience with Peanut and as you said Nookazon is not that bad, I've found a lot of items I needed and everyone so far had been very nice to me.

The reason I didn't fall for it was because I had my computer screen right in front of me with the offer hahah and i wasn't even carrying nmt to begin with :))))

We didn't lose anything as it was a touch trade.

She left u a good review? I think it may have just been a misunderstanding, normally scammers play the victim card and leave a bad review on you claiming you were in the wrong and such, tho who knows, that being said good on you for not dropping the NMTs!

I have to admit, I've had nothing but bad experiences on that site. The prices are so high and oftentimes i've found people were very rude to me. I've stopped using nookazon altogether. I've had much better luck with the kind folks here! :)

Smart! I made the mistake to refresh my screen, so everything was deleted at that point. The reason I didn't remember my offer as well was because I had offered different numbers of NMTs on several people selling Peanut. That didn't help -.-

O well, at least I want scammed any further, and I still got her ;)

I don't like trading people outside of this forum. I am running a catalog shop here, by the way. I sometimes make mistakes with my trades. However, I tend to correct it and apologise. The people here are very nice to deal with. It's a plus!

The only weird experience I've had on nookazon is that I offered ketchup for 10 nmts (which I needed to bid on another villager) and a person made an offer, and then proceeded to beg for me to give them ketchup for free. After I politely declined, they kept making offers with fruit and sending me messages until I archived the convo. The rest of my +50 interactions on the site have been great, and it's a good place to offer the less popular villagers I couldn't home thru the bell tree. I just put of the villager for free and ppl respond kinda quickly, since there's more traffic.
I usually only trade with people who have a lot of good reviews tho, I'm not taking chances.

I've had a few bad experiences. I try to stay away from Nookazon since it seems really sketchy ngl.
A user was giving away 3x red pansies for free and since I needed pansies, I took the offer. She took a few hours to send me a dodo code and by then, I time traveled and Leif came to my island. I got the red pansies so I cancelled the trade. ... She reported me :')

That happened to me with a nova star diy. My list price was the lowest during the time. Guy kept spamming with weird offers. I ignored it and moved on.

I think they just might be children, its usually frustrating when your offer is literally the lowest on the item lol.
