Backing up my game??

I'm not sure if this is the right area to ask this, but I'm going to be resetting my town and I'd like to back up my game first just in case I regret resetting my town. How do I do this?

There is no approved way (i.e. without using a hack which is against the rules of this forum) to back up a game. You can keep a copy of your dream address to be able to visit your town later, or you can purchase an additional copy of the game.

I personally wish that Nintendo would have a multiple save file for this game for that very reason - I also want to maybe try something new, but I do not want to lose my town that I have put a lot of work into.

I'd purchase another game. It's really fun actually. Call your local gamestop, they might have a used one. Mine had 2.

I agree with the above - purchase a second cartridge. I have another for cycling and general messing around. You can always get them second hand, there's some good condition ones out there at more than half the price of a new game
