i’ve struggled with making alternate accounts in the past as well, and your reason for doing so is completely valid. that may not make it right, but everyone makes mistakes, and i admire you for owning up to it and trying to better yourself.
i’m really sorry that your account reminds you of unpleasant memories, though — that’s awful. you may not be able to make a new account, but like @/Croconaw suggested, perhaps a username change could help a bit? it’d be like a fresh start without having to start all over, and you could change it to something that reflects who you are now, rather than who you were in the past. i’d be more than happy to send some tbt your way to help pay for it as well. let me know. <3
