Awkward pricing on Nookazon?

So Nookazon is infamous for having crazy expensive prices, but my question is.. What's with the weird pricing?? Lots of prices ending with "...333" or having a price be 100,000 instead of 99k. I mean the bell bags are divided a certain way, so isn't it just so much easier to price things while taking the 99k per bell bag into account. I just thought it was kind of silly, since it'll make checking prices when people pay a bit more difficult because the bell backs will be divided in awkward ways lol. What do you guys think? I've never bought anything on Nookazon, so I wouldn't know how these transactions would go, but I just browsed today out of curiosity and I noticed it and found it weird. Hehe

another strange thing is the "average pricing system". somehow villagers like admiral are as equal in price to Raymond, both being 1 million, but ankha is 2 million and 200 thousand bells? a lot of the regular prices are either really low, like Raymond, or really high, like the bunny day stuff.

hm I think most people, even on here, ask for prices like 100k, 200k, 300k bc it sounds better
there was only one person who 'only' gave me 99k x 2 when we agreed on 200k, all the other people I've traded with just did the small k amount extra (and when I buy stuff I always include it too)

How about the odd "..333" endings? I've seen some that end in 7. What do people do then?

hm idk I haven't seen that
but I'm not very active on nookazon
edit: oh I think that's just the average price, seems to be calculated through the prices the people put up but I don't think many people use prices like that to sell stuff
