In my towns past & present, I've had to let go of some great starting villagers because they were parked right in front of Town Hall or Retail. And not to mention those who moved in with the express intention of blocking the bridge, or destroying hybrids, or messing up paths...etc.

Dreamies Vs Town Planning. The battle rages on!

It's because of this that I eventually forced myself to put up with the mind-numbing tedium of plot-resetting (but even then mistakes still happen).

I spent 2-3 days plot-resetting Mac but got distracted and loaded up a new player at 6:59 instead of 5:59. He ended up really close to my mayor's house and a bridge so I re-built it further away from his house but now my layout is off. Sigh. I'm still debating whether I should live with it or let him move.

Who was the dreamie you had to painfully let go of due to the location of their house?

Me. I found Curly in the campsite and I was so happy. He moved on my carnations next to the flower arch and it looks awful. So, I am ignoring him now. Haven't really talked to him. It's still hard, I mean, I want to be his best friend lol

The first time I got Whitney through my camp site she unfortunately moved right next to my mayor?s house and it just looked awful!
I didn?t want to keep her anyways, so I just moved her out and traded her for someone else!
The second time I got her was through one of my siblings, who voided her, so she just randomly moved into my town the next day!
She put her house in a very bad spot, or so I thought, but after a while I think she could not move into a better place!
I really lover her placement now!
So, if Mac?s house placement doesn?t bother you too much, just let him live there! Maybe you will love it after some time? ^^
And cycling for villagers takes awfully long... :]

I started plot resetting for the same reason. Every villager that moved in, wanted to move right in the middle of my paths. I was tired of rerouting them, so now I am more careful.

I was plot resetting this morning, hoping to get a new villager into a good spot, all the good villagers I wouldn't have mind living in my town moved into horrible spots. Only one chose a good spot and it was someone I really didn't want >.<

"Francine...........................what did I do to deserve this"

MayorDarryn, that has got to be the worst villager placement I have seen yet. Yes, Francine decided to punish you. lol. I can't believe it can be so close to the board and the train station!!!

Bam and Cherry. They were two of my original dreamies, but both moved waaaayyy too close to my house. Cherry's was... okay, because she was one square away from ruining my paths... but because of that, the paths looked kinda awkward since Fang is on the other side with his house one square up more than Cherry's. So yeah, it just looked really weird. So I replaced her with Muffy, who I love just as much (how convenient!). Then there was Bam. He moved the closest to my house a villager could ever move. And it was smack dab in the middle of my path. Like, there was no way around it, no way to make it look nice, it was the worst possible spot a villager could ever move. So unfortunately, he HAD to go. I replaced him with Kid Cat, but now I kinda want Bam back. Oh well, I don't wanna get rid of two villagers to cycle 16 so I'll just deal with it until I get another copy.

Keaton moved in front of my police station, and bridge. He also wrecked some bushes surrounding a pwp. I tore down the project, moved the bridge, moved my path. Looks pretty good now. I still have him in front of the police station, but it doesn't bother me anymore. This happened almost two years ago, and plot resetting wasn't a big thing at the time. Now I plot reset. I'm always so worried that i'll mess up. It's easy to do when you're tired.

On one of my previous towns, I once had Shari move directly in front of my house when there were already villager homes surrounding me. I had her in front of my house, two villagers on the side (my left and right), and then another house somewhere behind me. The area around my house became a dirt garden. (;*△*)

Skye plotted right in front of my bridge and after destroying it and placing it a few feet away, it wasn't the same and I had to let her go :( Same with Whitney, she plotted right in front of town hall, but she's my favorite so I can't let her go haha
