Authentic artwork duplicates?

Hey guys, I've been getting duplicates of authentic artworks from Redd and I was wondering if this was just a flaw in the game or perhaps a side effect of TTing? It's extremely frustrating when Redd turns up and the museum already has the authentic artwork he's offering.

Should there not only be ONE of each authentic artwork per game?

No, this is normal.

That's perfectly normal in the game. You can own duplicates of real artwork. I've personally owned like 3 wistful paintings at one point.

You just have to wait for Redd to show up with a piece of art you don't own and buy it.
