They have to be either buying them online from sellers or spending way too much time farming for them, possibly with multiple switches and multiple games for efficiency. OOORRRR they did the big no-no and broke into the game and generated them like most online sellers are doing. In any case, everyone in the transaction benefits, it just drives up the prices for everyone else.
 
On ebay you can buy nook tickets for 10 and 20 bucks at a time, its kind of scary lmao

Well people that buy there are being fleeced. They get those nook mile tickets by save editing animal crossing which you can do and is very easy to do.

No my friend they use something else.... Just a homebrew switch with which you can backup your save file, load it to the pc and save edit on the pc and then overwrite the save edit back on the switch. You can make like unlimited nook miles like that.

I do not condone it but I do not want people to spend money on ebay for these things.
